K2BW is Tom Kahler's black and white preset. It builds strong, cinematic monochrome with deep shadows and bright highlights while preserving texture and detail, and works well for portraits, street and fine art projects.
- Desktop and mobile versions with an installation guide
- Mac and PC; RAW and JPEG
Depending on the photo, a small exposure or temperature tweak helps the tones fall into place.
How to install
Lightroom Classic: in the Develop module, click + in the Presets panel and choose Import Presets.
Lightroom: open Edit → Presets, use the … menu and choose Import Presets.
Every photo is different, so fine-tune exposure and white balance after applying a preset.
