Blue Steele captures Northern UK city life, especially Manchester weather. Neil Hodkinson built it around steel-blue shadows with depth, highlights pulled back into a muted overcast grey, and subtle grain that keeps wet pavement and brick looking like film.
Contrast is deep and cinematic, so people separate from the gloom without losing the raw edge street photography needs. It performs best in low light and flat, cloudy conditions; shoot RAW and adjust white balance and exposure to taste.
- Blue Steele.xmp desktop preset plus a Read Me guide
- For Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Camera Raw
- Ideal for street, urban portraits, rainy nights and documentary storytelling
How to install
Lightroom Classic: in the Develop module, click + in the Presets panel and choose Import Presets.
