Film knows how to hold back: colours sit slightly desaturated, shadows stay soft and skin keeps its warmth without turning orange. Kyle Vollaers built his Cinematic Collection around that restraint, with a muted palette, balanced natural contrast, controlled highlights and plenty of retained detail.
Each image reads like a still from a film rather than a heavily filtered photo, and the look holds up in golden hour, flat overcast light and moody interiors.
- Lightroom presets for desktop and mobile
- For Lightroom Classic, Lightroom CC and Camera Raw, Mac and Windows
- Tuned to protect accurate skin, RAW and JPEG
- Great for portraits, lifestyle, street, travel and adventure
How to install
Lightroom Classic: in the Develop module, click + in the Presets panel and choose Import Presets.
Lightroom: open Edit → Presets, use the … menu and choose Import Presets.
Every photo is different, so fine-tune exposure and white balance after applying a preset.
