Rich reds, deep blues, shadows that hold their detail — Jake Pierrelee's take on a vintage cinematic palette, built so skin tones stay believable even under artistic contrast. Reads analog rather than over-processed: balanced, clean, still carrying mood.
Classic: Neutral cinematic base
Warm: Kodak-style film tones
Cool: Blue-hour atmosphere
Each family ships in standard, +CON (stronger contrast) and +CRUSH (deeper shadows, muted highlights), plus an Orion PowerGrade for grading further in DaVinci Resolve.
For properly exposed log footage: Sony S-Log, Canon Log, Panasonic V-Log and similar. Tested on Sony Alpha/FX, Canon R/5D/EOS/C70/C100/C200, Panasonic GH/S, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema, Nikon Z, Fujifilm X, DJI 4D and Mavic. Works in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or anything supporting 3D LUTs.
How to install
DaVinci Resolve: Project Settings → Color Management → Open LUT Folder, copy the .cube files in, then click Update Lists.
Premiere Pro: Lumetri Color → Creative → Look → Browse, and pick a .cube file.
Final Cut Pro: add the Custom LUT effect to your clip and choose the .cube file.
Set exposure and white balance first, then apply the LUT and adjust its intensity to taste.
