Lotus B&W is black and white seen through a filmmaker's eye. Created by Nirav Patel for DVLOP, it uses deep, weighted contrast and soft tonal transitions that keep detail in the mid-greys while highlights stay clean.
The inspiration comes from films like Roma and Ida and the restrained grit of 1960s and 70s photojournalism: quiet, emotional images rather than punchy graphic monochrome. Contrast is flexible, so the same preset works in flat window light and hard midday sun.

How to install
Lightroom Classic: in the Develop module, click + in the Presets panel and choose Import Presets.
Lightroom: open Edit → Presets, use the … menu and choose Import Presets.
Every photo is different, so fine-tune exposure and white balance after applying a preset.
