Black and white is unforgiving: one wrong move and skin turns chalky or shadows go muddy. Nikki Closser's presets avoid both, giving you clean, open highlights, deep shadows that still hold detail and a quiet cinematic weight through the midtones.
Skin looks soft and dimensional, and contrast feels intentional. Eight presets cover real portrait situations: backlit subjects, outdoor light, dark studio backdrops and light backgrounds. Each comes in a RAW version and a JPG/TIFF version so tones stay consistent across formats.

How to install
Lightroom Classic: in the Develop module, click + in the Presets panel and choose Import Presets.
Lightroom: open Edit → Presets, use the … menu and choose Import Presets.
Every photo is different, so fine-tune exposure and white balance after applying a preset.
